.Net Web Developer
DigitalDay is currently seeking an experienced .Net Web Developer to work with our design and development teams for work on Award-Winning Websites and Web-enabled Applications for National Brands. This position is full-time, located in our Cuyahoga Falls offices and requires the following:
Responsibilities:
- Apply knowledge of relevant technologies, operating systems, communication protocols and database platforms.
- Apply knowledge of programming paradigms / standards and when appropriate develop reusable components that positively impact future projects.
- Author and take ownership of Technical Documentation
- Take ownership of application development projects from a development standpoint
Experience:
- 3+ years experience developing .Net-based Applications in C#
- Experience using ASP.Net/.Net 3.5 and MVC frameworks
- Experience with XML: XSLT, DTD or Schema modeling
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Flash and AJAX.
- Expertise developing and testing across multiple browsers, platforms, DOM implementations, etc.
- Understanding of and Experience with Database Platforms, such as Microsoft SQL, MySQL and Oracle
- Experience developing for content management system (CMS) based applications
- Exposure to or knowledge of eCommerce and Middleware products
- Experience with a modern development architecture utilizing tools such as Subversion, Cruise Control, Bazzar and Hudson
- Understanding of good design principles, Web best practices and ability to adhere to complex design specifications during implementation
- Experience developing accessible websites (Section 508, W3C WAI Guidelines, etc.) as well as developing for iPhone or mobile platforms is preferred
- Experiences Optimizing for Search Engines is desired
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written & oral communication skills
- Team participation skills
